Hand-forged. All Anika axes are hand forged, which gives a slight variation in parameters, but the result is maximum durability and uniqueness of each axe.

A model of hiking axe with increased reliability.
Key features: an order of magnitude lighter and shorter than standard medium-sized Finns, while the geometry of the axer “lip”, depth and balance remain the same.
Steel – SHKX15, full cycle of heat treatment with zone hardening of the blade for toughness, hardness of the cutting edge – about 58 HRC, impact butt. The axer lip is drawn off on a hammer, depth – 80 mm. This height of the one-piece forged lip ensures a tight contact with the handle of the axe and, if used correctly, will eliminate the possibility of gaps. The shank is percussive. The blade is polished to reduce adhesion to wood.
Standard sharpening on the axe for woodworking with a micro-edge. If you need sharpening for work on other materials, please specify when ordering.
