Product description
This fist axe has a speciality: the customer is a professional musher who works with huskies. He needs the axe for preparing food for his dogs, namely for cutting beef rumen and meat. For this purpose, an extended blade was made so that the axe could also work effectively as a knife.
Steel – SHKX15, full cycle of heat treatment with zone hardening of the blade for toughness, hardness of the cutting edge – about 58 HRC, impact butt. The blade is satin ground at 320 grit for ease of maintenance.
Standard sharpening on the axe for woodworking with a micro-edge. If you need sharpening for work on other materials, please specify when ordering.
